Mission
Want to relieve stress and have fun at the same time? Join us and learn the Olympic sport of Fencing! The Marshall University Fencing Club welcomes new and experienced fencers alike to practice the art of swordsmanship. In this club, you will learn basic and advanced techniques of Olympic-style fencing in the sports of foil, epee, and saber. We have all the necessary equipment for beginners. It is the club's goal to preserve the art of fencing and to have fun and learn while doing so. Beginners are always welcome, and no prior experience is required.

Practices for the semester will be every Monday and Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. Practices are held at the Henderson Center, Floor A, room 1002. Close-toed shoes, long pants (i.e. sweats pants or athletic pants,) are required. If you can, bring a glove for protection (a leather glove or gardening glove work well if you don't have a fencing glove). A water bottle is also highly recommended.

Membership Benefits
We have all the necessary equipment for beginners. There is no fee to join, however donations are always appreciated. We are open to non-student membership.

There is no commitment to attendance, join us for as much or as little as you like.

Mission
The purpose of this organization shall be to provide an opportunity for Marshall University students to compete in the ACHA (American Collegiate Hockey Association) at the Division III level in a safe atmosphere that will offer a rewarding college experience in a financially responsible manner. The goal of this organization is to establish the Marshall University Men’s Ice Hockey team at the collegiate club level and grow into a respected ACHA Division III program, until one day making it to Division I.
